Miscellaneous Triad Rulings

The curse (i.e. the "Mark") applies only to attack rolls, not to all d20 rolls (such as saves, skill checks, initiative checks, or ability checks). The PC's actions in combat brought on the curse, so the curse is aimed specifically at combat. The line on the AR should read as follows (the added text is between the asterisks):
"... from this point forward, all natural 20s rolled by the PC *on attack rolls only* are treated as *natural* 1s *and are therefore automatic misses*."

The Favor of the Arcanist Guild includes access to the Library of Antigua in Wintershiven for 1 year after the scenario is played. Access to the Library doesn't have any in-game effect by itself, but it is intended as an open-ended plot aid.
There might be occasions where a scenario says "If a PC has access to the Library of Antigua...", so the judge should ask the players about this.
Otherwise, a player might take the initiative and ask "Could my PC's access to the Library of Antigua help in this situation?", and the judge will have to make a ruling on the fly. As always, do what is best for the adventure and the fun of the players.

The "Favor of Master Trumbore" from this scenario says you can "purchase a total of 4 arcane scrolls of up to 6th level spells." My question is, must these scrolls be on the Core list in the LGCS or can they be Limited spells?
The scrolls (or wand) bought using this favor have to be from the tables in the DMG. You may not use the favor to buy scrolls or a wand of other spells, even if those spells are available with Core access.

The following is effective for all Bracelets of the North gained in the scenario PAL4-08 Winters Past:
Bracelet of the North Changing Magic: The familiar bracelet you have been wearing seems to have changed somehow. It remains frozen to your wrist but the protective wards it once provided have faded. You no longer find yourself resistant to fire, and every time you attempt to ignite a fire, you feel a twinge of reproach. The bracelet has no doubt become cursed in some way, but its full repercussions are yet to be known.
Removing the Bracelet of the North now requires not only a limited wish, wish, or miracle cast by at least a 17th-level caster, but also a remove curse cast by at least a 17th-level caster.
A special Adventure Record is available to track this change for your PC.
This is a change from an AR for a scenario, but it applies to all bracelets as of now whether you have played the new scenario or not. We waited until the original scenario was retired to announce this and the scenario that does this is still in play. This is a bit of a spoiler and we apologize for that, but it is a necessity of this magic item from its original inception.
The bracelet remains frozen in place and is still not removable, but its magic no longer protects you. You may wear and interchange normal magic items that take up the bracer slot even with the bracelet in place as normal as of now.

The Boots of the North listed on the AR for PAL4-08 "Winters Past" should be changed to Boots of the Winterlands. Our Circle Representative has approved this change.
Thank you for your patience in this matter and I apologize for my own mistake when I wrote the scenario.

Any PC that prior to conversion has the Bracelet of the North must still have it after conversion.
If there are questions about this please send them to me privately to avoid spoilers as much as possible.

If you belong to a metaorg that gets a discount on specific items, for
example a 10% discount on masterwork full plate, and you have access
to a special material such as dragonhide or mithril, would you get the
discount on full plate made from such a material?
No, you only get a discount on exactly what it says you do. Meta-orgs only
give discounts on PHB items.

The "Ring of Doragan" from NMR3-06 "All Is Well and Stabled" does NOT count
against the number of magical items that can be worn in a ring
slot. Consequently, it is possible for a PC to wear two magical rings at
the same time that he or she is wearing the Ring of Doragan.

For the trade from the KublaCon Interactive you cannot
keep additional monies from the trade. All monies
must be used to purchase the new magic item. If they
are not used then the money is lost, which is still a
better benefit then a sale for half-price.
This means you probably won't want to sell anything
that has a value much higher then 8,000 gp, although
you could if you chose to.
