Adventure Record Ordering

 

To begin the process of requesting the Aventure Records for your RPGA event, please enter your "Event ID." This ID is generally 8 characters long, made of upper-case characters and numbers, and is sent to you in the Subject of the email message sent by the RPGA when your event is approved. If you find your event on the RPGA Calendar, the ID is shown on the URL of the event detail.

Overview of event ordering

You can use this system to order the Adventure Records for your Pale regional events and Nyrond and Her Environs metaregional events. To obtain the Adventure Records, follow these steps:

  1. Order the event from the RPGA's site. First, sign on to the RPGA's Members Area. Using their system, order your event with the desired Pale regional and Nyrond metaregional events. For regionals and metaregions, you will not see actual scenario names. You select the scenarios using generic placeholders, such as "PAL4-01 Pale Year 4 Regional 1," which corresponds to PAL4-01 Lost Soul.
  2. Enter the Event ID in the above form. When the RPGA approves your event, you will receive an email message with the Event ID. Use this ID to order the ARs from this system.
  3. Obtain the Download Instructions. This system will find your event on the RPGA calendar and identify the scenarios you have ordered. It will then send you Download Instructions via email, explaining how to download the ARs.
  4. Download the Adventure Records and supporting materials. Using the URLs in the Download Instructions sent to you, you will download ZIP files that contain the ARs, scenario passwords, and associated files. The ARs will be password-protected Adobe Acrobat files. The password for these files is found in the Download Instructions sent to you via email. The scenario passwords will be in short text files - the scenario passwords are different from the AR passwords. Other associated files include errata for scenarios, conversion from 3.0 rules, and other materials.
  5. Download the scenarios. Go to the Scenarios section to download the scenario text. Scenarios are password-proected Adobe Acrobat files. The password is found in a text file included in the AR Zip file.
