Welcome to the Web site devoted to detailing the Theocracy of the Pale for the Living Greyhawk campaign. Living Greyhawk (LG) is a campaign run by the RPGA Network. In LG, you create a character with certain rules and can then play that character in any LG event. LG events are run at conventions and game days throughout the world. Your character earns experience, treasure, and influence which you can use at any LG game. Rules for creating your LG character can be found in the Game Rules section.
The LG campaign is structured so that different real-world areas have responsibility for detailing different nations in the World of Greyhawk. Northern California (see below) and Nevada are assigned the Theocracy of the Pale, a most unusual land. While some modules run throughout the world, we create regional modules focusing on the Pale that run only within our region. We create story lines, rules options, and background material that is specific to our region. This Web site is intended as a resource for people involved in the RPGA Living Greyhawk campaign. It provides new players information about how to create a new PC in our region. It gives DMs and more experienced players background information to enhance the unique flavor of our region. For authors, it is a resource of information to assist the writing process. People interested in the World of Greyhawk but not the RPGA Living Greyhawk campaign are welcome to read through this material and use it in your home campaigns. (Copying and distribution of this material should only be done with permission, however.) Note that this site is not a repository for information for the various wonderful home campaigns, but rather just a resource for one worldwide campaign.
